Oops!
For those of you that haven't heard yet, we had a little accident at our house about 2 weeks ago. One of our was getting in her car and when she reached in and turned it on it just took off!
She wasn't actually in the car, but since she had reached in it took her with her and she was finally able to wiggle down and push the brake with her hand.
Luckily no one was seriously injured! Our friend has some major bruises on both sides of her legs from being munched in between the car and the car door when it hit the house. Our house on the other hand was not so lucky.
It took out the garage door, the garage door opener, a stroller, the freezer and almost the family room wall. Here are some pictures:

This is the wall inside the garage behind the freezer. We really think that if the freezer hadn't been there she probably would have gone all the way into the family room.

We're very thankful that our friend wasn't seriously injured and that no one else was hurt. Jackson wasn't home when it happened (he was having a sleep over with Grandma and Grandpa Nics at the time - THANK YOU), so we glad about that.Clyde was home and got a little freaked. As soon as they opened the door to see what happened he bolted and ran away. Luckily one of our other friends that was also there went after him and brought him home.
I wasn't home when it happened either. I had gone to Deer Valley with some friends to see the Utah Symphony play the 1812 Overture and was having a grand old time - totally unaware (yeah!). Poor James was home and had to deal with it all.
We have fixed the garage door so far and we have a contractor coming tomorrow to fix the wall. It's been a very interesting couple of weeks to say the least. We are having another BBQ next Saturday but our friend who's car went wild isn't going to be able to make it - good thing because I don't think I would win a third 'discussion' about what type of freezer to get! (just kidding Amy!)

Happy late, late, late, late Father's Day
I've been a bum and not done a lot on our blog lately. Sorry!!!! James had a good Father's Day. Here's a picture of the card we gave him. He was able to get his new BBQ for Father's Day, so I think that made him happy!

We had a lot of fun at Lagoon (at least we think Jackson had fun)!

You can't tell from the picture but he cried :-(
He loved the train! His favorite part of the entire day was getting to see the tigers on the train ride. We went on the train twice!
If you look closely you can see James and Jackson - they are on the second seat from the front. He seemed to like this ride (at least he didn't cry)!

Favorite Pics
I hope everyone had a great Memorial Day! We went to Bear Lake to work on the cabin some more - mostly outside stuff. Being up there this year reminded me of of when we were up there last year and the cute picture we got of Jackson. Sooooo... I thought I would share some of my favorite pictures (the first 2 are from last year at Bear Lake)! For more of my favorite pictures check out the slide show below...

Mother's Day
I hope everyone had a great Mother's Day. Mine was really nice. James, Jackson, and Clyde got me a really cute card and took me out to dinner. I've included a copy of the card below. So cute!

Around the house
We have been working on some upgrades to our house over the last couple of months and Jackson is just loving it. He LOVES to help Dad anytime he can. I've added some pictures to give you an idea!
